Hi! I’m Macarena

I’m a seasoned communicator and content creator with more than 7 years of experience in communications, specializing in strategy and planning, video production and graphic design.

I started my career as a journalist, editor and content creator in Argentina, telling stories in different formats, from short-form videos to in-depth articles. I’m happy to have collaborated during this time with media companies, organizations and government projects that aligned with my values, such as elDiarioAR, Revista Anfibia, CADAL and the President’s Office.

In 2021, I moved to Switzerland, where I pursued a Master’s Degree in translation, specializing in legal and institutional translation, and had my first experience in an international organization at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). That experience at WMO made me develop an interest in climate and communications, and I have worked as a communications officer at the Climate Action Accelerator ever since.
